Made in Holland in the 1960s, these sculptures or busts of baby heads were very popular in Dutch interiors at that time. They are heavy and looked as if they are made from bronze, or wood, but they were mostly made from Paridur, a composite composed of plaster with synthetic resins
They are attractive items, now getting quite difficult to find and therefore becoming highly collectable.
