Where do your products come from?
I spend a lot of time visiting auctions and fairs to source items here in the UK. Also being originally Dutch, I have sources in Holland who can look out for interesting pieces on my behalf. I will often visit outlets and antique shops there and in France to source objects which are a little more unusual or maybe better value compared to the UK norm.
We use Paypal to securely process your payments. If you have your own Paypal account, you can pay directly from it, or if not you can use your credit/debit card at the Paypal site. Our checkout system will take you there when you buy your item.
Many products, being vintage items, will not have original packaging and/or instructions for use. Electrical items are tested and inspected visually, and any obvious faults are noted in our product descriptions. However we strongly suggest that you arrange for any electrical item to be inspected for safety by a qualified electrician before use. It is the buyers responsibility to ensure safety, and to operate, maintain and care for any products in a safe and sensible fashion. TipTop Vintage cannot accept any responsibility in this regard.
Large and heavy items.
Normally products will be sent to you via Royal Mail or Parcel Force postage. Large or heavy items may be sent by courier and will naturally incur a higher postage price. However where applicable a local pickup option will be available for you to choose from a drop-down in the shopping cart. I am near Brighton, Sussex if you wish to pick up directly. Please email or call to arrange this.
Wherever possible we will use recycled cardboard boxes for shipping. TipTop wants to be green!

Your purchase is made safely and securely at Paypal. TipTop Vintage only receive your order and contact details, these are for shipping purposes and our records. We have security software in place to guard our site against hackers. Please be assured that your contact information will never knowingly be passed on by us to any third party under any circumstances. We will respect your privacy as much as we value our own!
I live outside the UK… can I buy from you?
Yes! However we would ask international buyers to email or phone first so that we can arrange your purchase and supply full shipping options and charges.
I am having a problem with your site!
Isn’t technology wonderful? We can browse and buy things on our computers, laptops, tablets big and small and smart phones of all sizes. With this in mind our site is using a ‘responsive’ layout which will hopefully cater for all these devices.
